PM1603
The PM1603 is a Wrist Gamma Dosimeter, which is the only professional dosimeter in the world designed as a wrist watch.
It is designed for measurement ambient dose equivalent of gamma-radiation in a wide dose rate range (0.1 mSv/h - 5 Sv/h) and dose range (1 mSv - 10 Sv). The PM1603 has the possibility to store up to 1000 histories of dose rate, accumulated dose value and serial number of the dosimeter in its nonvolatile memory. additional it can transfer the stored values to a PC via an IR-adapter. It offers the possibility to use the dosimeter as a component for computerised accounting dosis to personnel and for creating corresponding data bases.
The instrument uses a GM counter as detector. The values are indicated in the LCD of the dosimeter. User settable thresholds for dose or dose rate will initiate an audible alarm when exeeded.
The PM1208 allows to measure and evaluate the dose rate and accumulated dose with an accuracy comparable with readings of professional handheld devices.
Rugged hermetic housing protects electronics from mechanical impact. The unit is designed for the severe operating conditions, meets the drop test (0.7 m, concrete surface). Electroluminescent backlight of LCD allows the use of the device at night.
