Clip-on Dosimeter
The PM1604A/PM1604B are the professional dosimeters designed for measurement of individual dose equivalent Hp(10) and individual dose equivalent rate Hp(10) of gamma and X-ray radiation in the energy range from 48 keV up to 6 MeV. Dose rate measurement range for the PM1604A is from 1 mSv/h up to 5 Sv/h, for the PM1604B it is from 1 mSv/h up to 10 Sv/h.
A possibility of storage of dose rate history, accumulated dose value and serial number of the device in its nonvolatile memory and further transmission of these values to PC through IR-adapter using a software is provided for in the dosimeters. It makes it possible to use the instrument as a component of computer system for accounting the doses of personnel and for creating the corresponding databases.
The devices allow the user to preset the alarm thresholds on dose rate and accumulated dose (two independent thresholds for dose and two for dose rate, which differ in type of audible alarm signals). In case any of the preset thresholds is exceeded this information is indicated in the LCD and corresponding audible alarm signal sounds. The dosimeters automatically count the time of dose accumulation.
The dosimeters have shockproof hermetic housing thus making it possible to decontaminate it. Physical dimensions are 50*56*19 mm. Battery lifetime 9 months.
